VOLUNTEER WORK DESCRIPTION







I did three different work during thhese ten hours in the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre.They are: Imported the data into the computer, took my cousin round the memorial hall,tole her the history, and help vistors to keep their bag.
I want to grateful to The Memorial hall of the Victims in Nangjing Massacre for providing this volunteer work chance for me.
I learned that when I import the data into the computer, I need to find the best way or shortuct to improve the work efficiency. For example, I according to the first letter of different words to out them together, or in the light of time, place and events to import. Also, if I had some problems, I always ask for other people who have experience. Then, I will make inferences by an alogy Observe carefully os absolutely necessary, look more about other people how to do, I can start from imitate until I can do my work skill, I will use my own way to do and create better ways. Also, this was the first time I helped visitors to keep bags. I needed to edit number every bag, and gave the number to the visitors.
I am willing to go to The Memorial Hall to be the volunteer if I have free time.

VOLUNTEER WORK ONE(Sentiment)











The place of my volunteer work in The Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre. This Memorial Hall has the important social position in the world. When I was a child, I already known the history about Nanjing Massacre. So, I choice do something for The Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre.






The most heinous slaughter began when Nanjing fell on December 13, 1937. Thousangds of disarmed and wounded sodiers whom they had captured, as well as refugees and civilians, were tied up and marched off to the Zhongshan wharf, Straw Sandals Gorge,Hanhong Gate. They were forced to line against or kneddl down before the Yantze River, the Qinghuai River and the city wall and shot by machine-guns. To ensure there were no survivors, the Japanese soldier used their bayonet to stab ruthlessly the bodies of the falling men or threw straw doused with kerosence into the river and burned them all death. Thecity soon became a hell wuty blood and tears. As a Chinese, as a Nanjing people, I must remember this histroy, and do something to pary for peace, to maintain peace.





I think I must use my practical action to help all the people know that we should respect history. As victims, Chinese people can not think we need to make reprisals, it can not make our countory more strong. What can we do? We should bear of the history in mind, and let the shame as our driving force..





Bear in mind the history, do not forget national humiliation.





SHCOOL CLUB ACTIVITY











In 2008 September, I joined in Taekwondo Club. The leader of this club is Amy, and she is a Grade 11 student.Taekwondo is a Korean Peninsula folk art of attack and defense techniques, is a technology for the use of hand and foot fighting of the Korean national traditional sport. It consists of goods potential (routines), fighting, three-part skills test elements. Taekwondo is the innovation and development of a unique martial arts, has a higher self-defense and a strong physique and practical value.







The aim of join in the Taekwondo Club is not to attack other people. I think Taekwondo si not only a article of physical culture, but also a art. I want to make myself more healther, bring up myself firm and unyielding will. From this club learning, I learned that people should be confidence and pay attention to protect ourselves, avoid unecessary hurt. Also, I need to be forbear to other people,that have a good sense of justice.




Some basic exercise must complate from 2 persons. So, team spirit is very important. Two people should harmoniously with each other. Otherwise, perhaps anyone will be wounded.My partner is John from 10-F. We always help each other, and try our best to cooperate with each other. Basic exercise is a very painful prscess. We need to do some difficult action to drag our ligaments, so that can increase the force of legs. When we do these actions, we willl have aches all over. If you do not be on the scent yourself, you can not imagine the feeling. It is very easy to give up. However, since I choice it, I must be start and finish. When we want to give up, we always encourage each other to make ourselves hace more courage and will.Because I stick it out, the trainer often let me to be an example. Majority time, I practise one action again and again, and try my best to do better. Now, thought I just a primary trainee, but I think I learned a lot, not only about taekwondo actions, but also morals. We can not use our taekwondo ability to browbeat other people. If we do that, we are violationg the ideology of taekwondo.




It is meangingful to learn taekwondo for me. Taekwondo makes me more reserved, and I remember the spirit of Taekwondo in heart:courtesy, integrity, perseverance, and self-control.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY LOG



































During this term, I joined a lot of physical activity. Such as running, playing badminton, skipping situps and so on. I always do these after school.
First, I think as a competitor, I need to use try my best to win the games. When I run with my friends or family members, I always try my best to maintain good physical coordination, and adjust my breath. However, My vital capacity is low. So, I'm easy to feel tired or sick.sometimes I feel pain in my heart, but I do not want to give up. I am pleased that because of practise in this term, I can run farther and faster than before. Also, I think strong will is very important. When I feel so tired that I want to give up, I will imagine that my friends are encouraging me, or if I finish, I will get that I wanted. Listining to music while we running is a good idea. Rock and roll can make runner excited. So, everytime when I running, I usually bring my MP4. Playing badminton need at least two people, I must concentrate the attention, and be careful that do not delude by the opponent. The most important thing is pay attention to the pose when you accept the ball.
Second, I grasp that physical activity is not only body actions, but also need wisdom and skills. We should use our brain to make ourselves more healther. When we do exercise, positive attitude and correct ways are very necessary. People should realist that the goals of physical actiong are making us more healther and using positive attitude to face our lives.
Third, these experience let me know that sports is not only make our bodies more heather, but also train our will. From these experience I learned how to use correct attitude to face our opponents and ourselves make good balance between each other.
At last, I think set a suitable goal before physical activity is very important step. However, the goal must be very realty, do not do something we can not do. So, basis our own lifestyle any physical limitations to set goal is very wise and necessary.
