The artwork on this picture is my favorite one. The man on this picture is called: LU XUN. He is China's modern great proletarian writers, thinkers and revolutionaries. He is known as “China’s vertebra”. The artist used a pack of clay to mould the statue. When I saw this artwork, I was shocked, and felt that there is a force burst out. The artwork makes me feel power and reminds of me the period that China suffered bullying. However, Lu Xun used his pen told Chinese people encouraged. The artwork has strong three-demnsional effects, lines are very obvious, and the colour is brown. Also, the artwork gets me think about Lu Xun’s productions.
The artist wanted to show a epoch’s soul with the artwork.

INTERPRET THE ARTWORK:
This artwork is very different from others. The artist used knife and ax to cut clay to carve. The artist uses this method of carving to shows Lu Xun's indomitable spirit. This distinct edges and corners statue makes me feel the history of heavy.
JUDGE THE ARTWORK:
I like this artwork very much, because this artwork makes me remember a great Chinese human. I think we should remember this person who help China to stand up.
